Sinha is been in the forefront of a large number of social and welfare organizations. He is the President of Association of Social and Cultural Events; Founder & General Secretary of Dwarka Chirtragupt Samaj; Patron of Dwarka Bangiya Samaj (Bengali Association) and many other Socio- Cultural organisation.
On the cultural front, he has been organizing grand Dwarka Ramleela / Dussehera Mahotsav, Kavi Sammelans on eve of Independence Day, Painting competition on Republic day and Torch bearer of Dwarka Award ceremony for the last many years to provide platform to talents and bring people of Dwarka together. Sudha Sinha, is a dynamic and dedicated professional, who has committed herself to a cause she holds very dear to her heart – the development of the Dwarka sub-city. Sudha is a multi-talented and multi-facted person and the first woman, who wishes to redefine the meaning of real-estate business by being the first woman in real estate in Dwarka.\ She keeps working for the upliftment of women and children who have faced oppression and discrimination. She is a formidable social activist and has proved her mettle in fighting for a number of causes and has also been successful in resolving some long pending and contentious issues that had been bothering the sub city residents.
Her attitude is non-confrontationist, and believes in understanding all points of views. This balanced and mature approach has stood her in good stead while dealing with a wide array of persons in her career.
A Delhiite to the core, Sudha did her M.Phil in Fine Arts from University of Delhi. She started her career as an educationist and had a close association with media. She worked with Zee media as coordinator for a serial / talk show and with ‘The Times of India’ as marketing coordinator. But always an entrepreneur at heart, she soon ventured out on her own. Sudha then decided to start her own newspaper in 2003 and named it ‘Dwarka City’. Soon the newspaper became a household name and was accepted by not only the residents but also the government / civic authorities to bridge the gap between the activities and development of the area and residents.
Sudha has also been the driving force for the Federation of CGHS Dwarka Ltd, an apex body of cooperative group housing societies in Dwarka. It was due to her bold decision of sitting for dharna, that water problem in Dwarka was solved. The 26 societies that had gone for self draw were regularised due to her perpetual efforts. It was for the commendable work done for the development of the sub city that Sudha was given the Best Corporator Award by Delhi Government in 2015.
